Traditional General Practice in a Changing World

At Knightwick Surgery we are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare

We have now restarted our online booking system for patients registered with Patient Access. Our GPs are currently operating telephone consultations only so please do not visit the surgery for your appointment. You will be contacted as near to your appointment time as possible.

There is heightened coverage around the world concerning the recent Coronavirus outbreak.

Unfortunately fraudsters are targeting the vulnerable and worried and exploiting current circumstances to take advantage of public fear and concern.

We have been made aware that some of our patients are receiving phone calls, texts and letters from fraudsters pretending to be related to the NHS. They will try and obtain your personal details and in particular your NHS number. We will never ask you for this.

Scammers are sophisticated, ruthless and opportunistic and will try many ways to get the information they want. They often target the vulnerable so please make relatives and friends aware. You should never release personal details to anyone who contacts you unless you are absolutely certain they are who they say they are and that they have a right to obtain that information from you.

If you are in any way suspicious, do not give any details over the phone, hang up and then ring us to confirm.

Collecting Medication during Coronavirus outbreak

To minimise patient / staff contact, we are now operating an in-car collection system at the surgery. This operates between 10am-12pm and 4pm-6pm. Please only collect medication between these times.

Please drive into the car park when a space is available. The bays are now all now numbered.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR - instead ring us on 01886 821279 and let us know your bay number. Someone will bring your medication to you.

Payment will be taken by card over the phone to avoid cash changing hands. If you have a payment exemption, please let us know what type so we can complete the back of the prescription form on your behalf.

Please be patient when ringing in. We will answer your call as soon as possible.

You can view a video of the new system in action on our Facebook page at:
