Collecting Medication during Coronavirus outbreak
To minimise patient / staff contact, we are now operating a collection system at the dispensary hatch just inside the surgery. This operates between 10am-12pm and 4pm-6pm. Please only collect medication between these times.
Please ensure you wear a face covering when collecting medication
There is a strict one in / one out policy and patients are reminded to maintain social distancing while queuing.
Payment will be taken by card only to avoid cash changing hands. If you have a payment exemption, please let us know what type so we can complete the back of the prescription form on your behalf.
Please be patient when queueing. We will help you as soon as possible.

If you have no way of collecting your medication, we have an army of volunteers who may be able to help. You will need to give us your consent for us to pass your medication to them along with your name, address and contact number. Please call Reception and we will help you with this. Some volunteers may also be able to help with shopping or giving you a call now and then for a chat.
To support your NHS in saving money we would ask that you only order prescriptions that you need and do not re-order items you already have at home. This will help the NHS both locally and nationally in our efforts to save money.

If you do not already have a user ID and password, you will need to contact the surgery to obtain your registration letter.
This process links directly to our Patient Information system and will show medications as itemised on your repeat list. It eliminates the need for us to print out your request and enter it manually into our dispensing system. This means that requests are less likely to be mislaid or incorrectly transcribed, so reducing errors and improving efficiency.
You will need to register to use this service but please note that if you are already registered for online appointment booking, you will be able to use your current log in details.
(You may need to contact Reception to activate the medication ordering module.)
The first time you do this you will be asked to register and set up a password. You will then be given a logon ID which you will need to log in to the system. You can then log in and set up your order. Please phone the surgery if you experience any problems registering.
Please note that orders sent after 6pm on Fridays or at weekends are not received by us until Monday morning. All orders require 3 working days from time of receipt to be processed. You can see the progress of your order from the ordering screen.
Alternatively use repeat slips to order your repeat medication and allow three working days from receipt to collecting. (Allow extra for postal problems).

Please avoid telephoning for repeat prescriptions if you can, as emergency calls may be trying to get through.
Periodically you will be asked to see the Doctor if you are on regular treatment.
Sometimes a medicine may have to be sourced from a pharmacy on your behalf. If you are unhappy with this please let us know.
Medicines can, by arrangement, be collected from Knightwick Surgery during opening hours, Clifton-on-teme village shop and Martley Garage shop. You will be asked to fill out a Remote Collection Agreement if you wish to use this service. Please ask at Reception.
